How to take deposits without the awkwardness

The trick is that the system asks for the deposit, not you personally: an automatic message with the amount, the payment details and a clear cancellation policy. The client sends a payment confirmation and the assistant checks the amount, the date and the status. Eiwa does this for you, including photo verification of the receipt and protection against duplicates.

Why asking feels awkward, and how to fix it

A personal request for money reads as pressure. When a system sends it as part of the booking rule, it's just how booking works.

A clear cancellation policy removes the follow-up questions, because the client sees the terms up front.

How Eiwa collects deposits

It sends the client your payment details and your policy text automatically when the appointment is created.

It verifies the payment confirmation from a photo (amount, date, status) and flags the booking green, yellow or red.

Duplicate protection makes sure one payment can't be counted twice.

How much to ask for

The usual benchmark is 20 to 30% of the service price, or a flat amount for higher-ticket work.

We don't process payments for you. Eiwa only helps you request and verify them, so your payment processor and your bookkeeping stay yours.

Eiwa does this for you for free, by voice, right inside Telegram.
